OUR SERVICES
Comprehensive/Diabetic Exams
We recommend a comprehensive exam for adults at least every two years, and every year after age 55. Dilation for diabetic patients is standard of care.
Specialty Contact Lenses
No contact lens fitting is too complicated for our team. We offer scleral, hybrid, RGP, multifocal, and soft disposable contact lenses.
Pediatric Examinations
Every child should have a comprehensive eye exam between ages 3 and 5, and every year after while in school.

OUR DOCTORS
E. Watts Davis, OD
Dr. Davis graduated from Southern College of Optometry in Memphis, TN in 1967. He opened his first practice that year in Monticello, MS, where he still practices today. Dr. Davis has served as president of the Mississippi Optometric Association as well as president of the Mississippi Board of Examiners in Optometry. He is currently a member of the American Optometric Association, the Mississippi Optometric Association, and the Southeast Mississippi Optometric Society. When not at the office, Dr. Davis enjoys spending time with his wife, Martha, and the rest of his family, especially his four grandchildren. He also loves raising and training quarter horses.

Tiffany McElroy, OD
Dr. Tiffany McElroy is originally from Clarksdale, MS. She received her bachelor’s from Mississippi State University and doctorate from Southern College of Optometry in Memphis, TN. She is a member of the AOA and MOA where she is serving as chairman of the Grassroots Committee. In 2020, she was voted Jones County’s Best Optometrist and was also the recipient of the 2020 Helen St. Clair Young Optometrist of the Year Award. In her spare time, Dr. McElroy enjoys traveling and spending time with her husband, Justin, and their two children, Henry and Claire. She is also a member of St. John’s Episcopal Church, Laurel Main Street, and Laurel Arts League.

Evan W. Davis, OD
Dr. Evan Davis is a native of Jones County and graduated from West Jones High School. He completed his undergraduate studies at the University of South Alabama in Mobile. He joined his father, Dr. E. Watts Davis, in practice at Eye Care Associates in 2010 after earning his Doctor of Optometry degree from Southern College of Optometry in Memphis, Tennessee. He is currently a member of the American Optometric Association, the Mississippi Optometric Association, and participates in the InfantSEE program. In his spare time, Dr. Evan Davis enjoys spending time with his wife, Lori, and their two children, Eva and Easton. He also enjoys attending University of Southern Mississippi sporting events and playing golf.

Joshua W. Patrick, OD
Originally from Brookhaven, MS, Dr. Patrick received his bachelor’s degree from Mississippi State University and his doctorate from the University of Houston College of Optometry. He is a board member and the vice president of the Mississippi Vision Foundation and a member of the International Keratoconus Academy, Contact Lens Society of America, and the American Diabetes Association. Dr. Patrick practices full scope optometry but specializes in specialty contact lenses and sports vision. Outside of the clinic, he is an avid outdoorsman and enjoys attending MSU sporting events and spending time with his wife, Sarah, and their two dogs.

Justin McElroy, OD
Dr. Justin McElroy is a native of Natchez, Mississippi. He earned a Bachelors and a Masters degree in English Literature from Mississippi State University and minored in Chemistry at the University of Memphis. He earned his doctorate from Southern College of Optometry in Memphis, TN, and is a member of the American Optometric Association, the Mississippi Optometric Association, and is also an InfantSee provider. When not practicing Optometry, Dr. McElroy enjoys reading, gardening, and spending time with his family and his pets. He is a member of the Laurel Kiwanis Club, and he attends St. John's Episcopal Church, where he serves on the Vestry.

Kathleen Tariq, OD
Dr. Kathleen Tariq is a native of Hazleton, Pennsylvania. She completed her undergraduate degree at Pennsylvania State University and her doctorate at Pennsylvania College of Optometry in Philadelphia, PA. She practiced in Northeast Pennsylvania for several years before relocating to Mississippi. Dr. Tariq is excited to provide optimal eye care to her community with an emphasis on glaucoma management and diabetic eye exams. Dr. Tariq and her family reside in Petal and love being part of the Petal Panther community. In her spare time, she enjoys spending time with her husband and two daughters.
